G.I. Joe

Our Wounded Baby!!!!
Sweet Joey took a spill out front today. He is always trying to do things that he is much too young for and on occasion his attempts result in an injury. Today he was pushing himself around in MJs fire truck cozy coupe and he successfully stopped and got out of it. He was just standing there hanging on and then decided to get back into the car and then.............THE BIG FALL!!! He was so tough and barely cried. This fall barely slowed him down for a minute!
Yes, it hurt really bad and both of my brothers wanted me to have boo boo BandAids!

Still as sweet as can be...even when I'm hurt!

This was the vehicle used in the accident. As you can see, it is the perfect toy for our 3 year old

Pumpkin Farm

We took a trip to a pumpkin farm this weekend with some friends. We had lots of fun.....hayriding, corn maze, shooting corn, sliding and playing in the dirt! Although the weather wasn't very "fallish", there was fun to be had by all.

NJ and Daddy shooting corn together...is that male bonding or what!!

My sweet and very sweaty boys:)

The Third Child

Well, this will probably be the first of many blogs about our third child:) Hopefully, many of you can relate to this story......Matthew got a new dump truck for his bday and Nick and Matthew thought that it would be a GREAT idea to give Joey a ride in it (my sweet 10 month old!) Well, they loaded him in and off they went around the bonus room............

Nick helping Joey to get positioned just right before the Big Ride!

He looks like he's having a ball, right?

Dennis joked during and after this event telling me, "Jennifer, you would have NEVER allowed 2 toddlers to push Nicholas around in some plastic dump truck when he was only 10 months old!" I guess the more you have the more ADVENTUROUS you become:)

Walking for a GREAT Cause!!

As a family, we recently participated in the Walk Now for Autism Awareness. A friend of ours has a son with autism and we were part of his team. We had a great time and were glad to walk and help raise money for autism research.

Goodbye Summer!!!

We woke up this morning to see Grandma Barb off and waved goodbye outside and it was sooo CHILLY!!! A BURR 54degrees and when we felt our goosebumps we knew that summer would be coming to a close sooner than we hoped.
We had lots of fun this summer with our friends and family. Of course, we are looking forward to a break from the 90degree weather too!
So, goodbye summer and know that we will miss you and all of the fun we had!
